Doncaster Classic Car and Bike Show  - 17th August 2008

The best classic car show in the area held at the College for the Deaf, Leger Way, Doncaster (opposite the racecourse). Organised by the Rotary Club of Doncaster St. George's and the Traditional Car Club of Doncaster. 

The Doncaster Classic Car & Bike Show was a new event in 2007 when, despite very wet weather conditions it encourages over 350 classic car and bike Exhibits along with trade stands, entertainment, etc. Open to the general public as well it created an incredible amount of interest, so much so that we are building on this success this year as we organise the SECOND Doncaster Classic Car & Bike Show at the same venue, on Sunday 17th August. 

Last year the event raised no less than �1,500 for the local branch of The Alzheimer's Society and this year we intend to raise signficantly more money, ALL profits from the event going to local charities. The Rotary Club of Doncaster arrange an annual Community Grant Scheme (see details within the Rotary St. George's website, and the money raised from the Show will all to local organisations in need of funds. All the donations will be documented and reported on in the local news as well as our website. 

This year's show 

Held in conjunction with the Traditional Car Club of Doncaster, the Doncaster Classic Car and Bike Show will encouarge hundreds of classic and modern vehicles to a fabulous day out, an event we plan to make the biggest and best show in the area. Please give us your support. 

Entries are coming in thick and fast at present and we want to encouage everyone to come along with their pride and joy, whether that be a new Ferrari or a Ford Model T, a period Lambretta Scotter or brand new Harley-Davidson. Check out some of the Exhibits in our Gallery to see what was there last year. You can use our Booking form to register for this year with your vehicle. You don't need to pre-book if a member of the public without a vehicle to display, just turn up on the day and pay at the gate. 

If you fancy a good day out for the whole family but don't have a suitable vehicle, don't worry you can still come along. With FREE parking on the racecourse car park, all it will cost you to come into our event is �2. A great day, with plenty of entertainment, lots to see and do so don't miss it. Come along to the DONCASTER CLASSIC CAR & BIKE SHOW on Sunday 17th August - 10am till 4pm (9am for exhibitors with vehicles). You won't be disappointed!
