Greetings to the bavarian board!

I saw a BMW 2000 Touring on sale and I wonder how much its worth:
1973 (k reg suffix)
2 door
odometer says 30,000 miles (130k? 230k?)
original upholstery
new wheels
recent paint job
minor rust damage in wheel bays

overall good cond. afaik

Just want to have an idea how much its worth before I ring him/her and get a 'well how much do you think its worth' back....

Cheers
Ed

Hi Ed, Id give a good bit of attention to those wheel wellsthey are a complicated panell to get right and the repair panels you can get now are very poor in quality and fit, The tourings seem to be more prone to rust in them as the rear windows are larger + the top of he tailgate and let in more water as the seals become more fragile. make sure you have a good root under the arches where the rear springs rest into the chassis. The rest is standard 02 so checking front pannel inner wings chassis legs is a must Also have a good look under any of the carpets you can particularly at the firewall, also see if they have pics prior to paint be dubious if they dont!

If it is a good sound car 2800 sterling is a good starting point and go from there. Dispite their relative rarity  they dont have the same following as a standard saloon, that said they are a very practical little classic with the seats down and I enjoy mine a great deal.
