It was mentioned to me just now about offering out bavarian-board email addresses.
Would people want one?
I think if it was being offered out, should it be to people above a certain post count and if so what?
If it was to become a reality I would offer either your username@... or firstname.lastname@...
Let me know your opinions.

Good idea, I think post count should be 250 or above, that is Really Senior member I or above.

Good idea, not sure if I would use it though  . I already have Hotmail, Yahoo, a joint one  with my darling wife , 4 from my ISP, 2 at work and O2 gave me another with my phone contract and there's others I cant even remember  !
If it were possible I'd say calculate on posts per day so that the folk who were using the forum get the benefit.
I think username@... would be best as that's what we use around here.

I knew this place was a loony bin at times but even I feel sane now! Well at least I think he is, infact they always tell me I'm going mad but I just look in the mirror and say out loud "DON'T LISTEN TO THE VOICES, THEY DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE"
In answer to the original question though, it's not a bad idea and would make a good point of contact for each other on here as opposed to the pm's maybe?
