Could anyone recommend a good BMW mechanic in Dublin (non dealer !). I have to get a seam welded and the steering box replaced on my '88 635csi Highline.

Thanks

David

Robert Furley - Kilskyre, Kells, Co Meath. Ph: 046-43711
M&A Motors - 182 James St, Dublin 8. Ph: 4540659 / 087-2270108
Rodanstown Motors (George) - Kilcock. Ph: 6287401
Tom Courtney Motors - Bessborough Ave, North Strand, Dublin 3. Ph: 8743047
Personally I would go for Robert in Kells or George in Kilcock

David, thankfully I've not needed any work doing since I brought the M over here but this guy has been recommended by a couple of guys at work with 5 series cars. They all get their cars serviced by him. Let us know how you get on!

Apparently his workshop is behind the Ulster Bank in Tallaght Village...... the boys say that he knows his stuff and isn't too pricey, but I've not needed to find out so far although a couple more trips to France and I'm going to be all out of lights!.

There is a mechanic on Dangan Drive near Kimmage (off Kimmae Rd West). I will get more details for you soon.

It'll be good to know as I'm now down to two greens, although this should only be an oil service - he hopes!!
