I have only just noticed that the spat between myself and the Jeff & Andrew Car Club which led to the forum becomming what it is now occured a year ago on Monday.

The year wasn't without its hassles with several threats of legal action coming from both the club and from BMW AG in Munich and yet we are still here.

Anyhow, its a testament to all the members on here that this forum has continued to thrive. It is still a free technical resource available to everyone and is also a community where all are welcomed regardless of what they drive.

Thanks folks!

Myself and the mods are honestly only a small part of the site - it wouldn't be much without everyone else.

Its a testament to all the crud that came from Mutt and Jeff that this forum has continued to grow while the "official" BMW club forum has a grand total of 427 members (probably less than 5% of current club members) that have posted an average of less than 20 posts each after 12 months of "activity".

Take out Mutt and Jeff's early attempts to "engage in lively discussion" with each other in the early few weeks to make the place look busy and the record is pretty poor!

Keep up the good work all here!

Now: BMW 523i SE '00, 318i SE - e91 '07, 325i Coupe '93.

Prev:

e39 523i SE.
e36 325i Coupe *2, 323i SE, 316iSE.
e30 325iSE 2dr, 320i Conv, 320i 2dr, 316i.
