Due to the need to relocate I am having to offer for sale my
Sport Evo.

The specification is: Jet Black with Grey cloth trim. Imported
from Italy 1998 and currently showing 60,380 miles (97,200
kilometres). MoT valid until November 2007. Fitted with air
conditioning, electric windows/sunroof and rear screen blind.
Kenwood cd/radio and Clifford cat 1 alarm/immobiliser.

Recieved full engine rebuild in 2003 including full top end
overhaul and all new timing chain, tensionser and oil pump.
During the past two years it has also recived new distributor
cap and rotor, ignition leads, fuel injectors, waterpump, water
temp sensor and both flywheel sensors. Upgraded in the past
year with a new AC Schnitzer suspension kit and front strut
brace.

The car has also recieved many new Sport Evo parts including
new steering wheel, gearknob and new front grilles.

Please note that this car is listed as a Cat D in 1999 - which
required the replacement of drivers side rear quarter panel to
repair.

Asking price: £13,950. Please PM me for further details, pics
etc.

Thanks for looking.

Mark

Paul

What price do you think it should be?

I thought the current average was around £15-16K (without
accident history) rising to £20K for a lower mileage/better
condition examples and over £20K for a real minter.

It'll be sad to see it go and it'll most likely be the last e30 m3 I'll
ever have - at least I've owned the one of the best versions
(along with the Evo II)

I would have said that £16k would be more like it, as its lower mileage for one. Also the Sport Evo is now even rarer as there has been a couple more broken up over the last couple of months.

Cat D is cosmetic damage - unless the insurance assessor missed something structural, so as your's has had a rear wing I would say that was trivial, as there is many a restored E30 M3 with new rear wings fitted (mine not included!). People seem to run a mile when they here the car has been listed, but Cat D is nothing to worry about in my opinion. It's not even recorded on your logbook.

It's going to be one of those cars, along with the Evo2 that no-matter how bad history is, the fact that it is still surviving someone will always want one.

If I had the £14k, It would be sat on my drive already.

AND, where is your plaque Mark?

The interior pic on pistonheads was taken before I fitted the
plaque - I don't normally use the suede steering wheel as I
usually have a leather Schnitzer one fitted. A brand new suede
wheel will be fitted by the time it's sold.

It'll be sad to see it go for sure but I don't have any plans to buy
a replacement in the immediate future. As much as I like cars
and driving, four years in Edinburgh has nearly killed my
enthusiasm entirely! Too many speed bumps, cameras, road
narrowing, useless drivers and the worst condition roads I've
experienced in the whole of Britain!

No doubt I'll eventually buy something else - probably even
more expensive, thirstier, noisier etc etc.

I kind of know hwat you are saying mate, but 15mins either way from the capital you can have some cracking roads. Anyway hope to see you on here with another soon.

Your car will sell no bother.....especially at that price
