engine still available £1200 complete ECU, LOOM, THROTTLE BODIES, PLENUM, HEADER ETC.
Oops i went and got an E36 !

No probs martin. went up eta's new workshop last week. well impressed with the new set up. got the dreaded wet carpet in passenger footwell. need to get it out and examined

have you seen my car at ETA? That started with a wet carpet
E61 520d, slow and buzzy but my wallet likes the mpg.....

Yes saw it i think the day after it went, then again a lot different on sat. the boys look determined to get it done by the easter deadline. I cant work it out though. Never had the problem before. Then cleaned the car very thoroughly(engine bay for first time and a puddle very wet in the middle of footwell. nothing on the slope part. had the carpet up as much as poss without taking trim off and looks ok apart from a little bit (Like a crack) in the very corner nearest under the speaker. could not see how that much water could come through that quickly. Now the car is going into a body shop Geoff has recommended because it has the stress crack in front of the coolant tank so need to get the carpet out before to give myself an idea.
