I was able to swap mine out without any problem. They are a tight fit over the nozzle, but a tad of rubber grease gets them on fine. The whole lot all goes back together a lot easier with the rubber grease too, just have to be careful with it.

But as far as I remember you can't take the second O-Ring from the injector without breaking the plastic "nozzle". I do I get something mixed up?

There's two O rings, both the same size, top and bottom. In my case the car smelt a bit of petrol after a short run. I left the engine running and popped the bonnet and sure enough fuel was pouring out of the rail down the the injector over the inlet manifold........luckily I was only about a minute from home. All sorted now, and was amazed at how loose most of the injectors were as it's only the O rings that make the seal. Replaced all of mine, car runs better and mpg has improved markedly.

OK I can see O ring on ETK at the bottom of the injector, PN 13 64 1 730 767, says there are 5, nothing listed for the top though.

O-Rings top and bottom of injectors. Once they start to fail, fuel pours out of the rail all over a nice hot engine......ask me how I know !!!!!!

I am due an inspection soon, the valves will be reshimmed as its 20k since they were done too.

I am going to have the injectors cleaned too while its in by Dave walker at Emerald in their ultrasonic thing.

Question is, are there any parts that need replacing when the injectors are refitted, like washers, seals or anything like that?
Cheers

Kevin
