E46 M3 Windscreen washer light still on

   Does anyone know why this light is still on after I have filled the reserve up to max?

I filled it till water spilled out and the light is still on � will I need to get this light reset some way? Hate having warning lights on the dash especially when there�s not a problem.

	maybe a faulty sensor ?

	Ill get it checked out this week might just be a case of resetting it. Is there an overflow on this water bottle? I filled it until water started seeping out from somewhere but it didnt overflow the bottle itself. Would there be a leak somewhere by any chance? I havent noticed it running completely out of water just this problem when filling it up and the light on.
