Yep! Look forward to seeing you guys.

Another E30 M3... Do you think that there will be enough of us E30's to form a phalanx and 'overpower' those E46'S ?????? !

You had to register, but I think you can just turn up and see if there are any slots left. Can't imagine they turn you down when it comes to make more money......

many thanks to those who attended and hope a good day was had by all.

John Thorne and his team are very enthusiastic and offered helpful advice and we will no doubt visit again in the future for another club day.

I know you would ask for that so I left it

As it seems that every RR day has to have something to go wrong, the graphs are somehow off scale at the rev axis.
They couldn't get a reading of the REV signal so the operator mayched it for speed (and if he used my speedo I am not surprised it doesn't match as my tyres are too small in diameter...)
So my peak hp is around 6500

That is not such a big deal.

Torque is torque and engine speed has no relation to torque.

If you know the road speed that Max torque was produced then working out the power from there is possible using a gear calc program to find the engine preed for a given road speed. All you have to do is work the rest out from there.

I did this, with the now infamous, Northampton Motorsport graph and was happier with the results.

Was the wheel power corrected? It isn't normally!

Steve

P.S Do you have a raw data output?

no corrections as far as I know for the wheel power.
I don't have the raw data and I don't know what speeds or whatever he used.

But now having two different Dyno results it seems a bit strange with having
178 at the wheels and 239 fly (northampton)
and 195 wheel and 232 in MK

When I corrected my NHMS wheel figs I was within 3rwhp of my Powerstation figure of 190rwhp. The flywheel figs, as you know, are just speculation!
