Hey Guys

As i am sure you all know know i have myself an m3 in need of much tlc, howver whilst under the back of it i have just realised that the entire ARB(anti roll Bar) system is not there!!! i have only just noticed as by its total absence it was hard to spot!!

Any of you guys know why it would have been removed, as i simply cant think of one.....it was standard fit to all e36 m3's wasnt it????

cheers

donk

Not sure about it being a standard fit, but I wouldn't see why it was omitted?

No anti-roll bar on the rear may make it handle better in the wet.

Sounds like a perfect time for an upgrade to me

helloooo.

to be honest i havent much time to look for any other bits that may have done a runner!

i have serviced it though.......and now the cain tensioner growls like a bad-un, goes away after a bit though.(i hope it is the tensioner )

i have got myselfa set of type 22's gonna be running 235/225 back front until the fronts need doing and then will switch to 235's all round

next job is the ABS, then its booked in on the 29th at Ajec Racing to get the camber set up and the front shocks replaced pus final drive and gear box oils ..(providing the shocks turn up)

fingers crossed.

after that i will be replacing the nearside drive shaft before it falls off and fitting a standard rear ARB kit.

all in that lot and the wheels has cost me £500 but i hope to sell the chrome ones and recoup £150 or so.

i hope by the end it will have cost me about £3200 plus alot of my time and knuckle skin (but i like it)

P.S.

Any one know a decent bm place in bristol who dont ask for stupid money and know there arse form their elbow?

Cheers chaps

I can recommend Clayton Cars. I havn't been there in a while, but have known them for years and years. Always seem to be fairly priced and have an excellent reputation. Although I have not been there for a couple of years. Ask for Lee or Pete. 01179 631699 I think!!
