The simplicity of TomTom makes it very user friendly. We 'rent' them to Car Hire customers and as I'm in Irvine too I could let you have trial. Robin |

I find driving around with an Indian tracker sitting on the bonnet works as well and he catches most of the flies before they hit the windscreen so thats a bonus as well. But if you go into halfrauds they will let you play around with them all before buying one from somewhere else of course |

I've used Tom Tom for a number of years. Started off with Tom Tom V2 on an Ipaq PDA, upgraded immediately to V3 and V5 when they came out. Currently have a 910 - I'd be lost without it (pun intended). I would recommend the Tom Tom. |

Another vote for TomTom here, I've been using it since TomTom Navigator 3 My boss has just bought a TomTom Go of some sort, he used to have a Garmin and said that it was constantly losing signal and the mapping was woefully out of date even in a major city like Glasgow |

I've got TomTom 5, recent upgrade. Absolutely great when I went to Spain but made me think a bit. What I thought was all these systems are great when you're away from home but when you're local there's always a better way! |
