Having put the style 5's on the car recently I decided to have the H&R lowering springs fitted, The height really suits the low profile tyres and the front looks fantastic but the rear camber has been adjusted as expected. I was under the impression that this'd be easy to sort but now I've heard otherwise. What can I do - I am very reluctant to write the inner edges of expensive tyres off after a few hundred miles.... Any help gratefully received !!! |

20mm according to C3 who supplied the kit - I dont reckon its a lot more - maybe 25mm on the rear. Camber is pretty noticable though....

My M3 is the same and doesn't go through rear tyres.

my expirence with H&R springs is the inside edges of the rear tyres last about 7-8000 miles. But it does depend on make and driving style.
You can get camber correction bushes or you need to weld on some adjustable plates that use eccentric bolts to correct any camber. Nothing else you can do!!! EDIT: you can also buy some solid Motorsport rear subframe bushes that are 12mm shorter. MuzziMortorsport sell them. Edited by 215DMX |
