I may not have mentioned to you all that helmets are compulsory when you are on the track.

Long sleeves.. It will be a hot day but the chief marshall may still insist that your arms and legs are covered when you are out on the circuit.

Camping.. as mentioned elsewhere Sunday the 9th is the Ford RSOC big annual bash and they will not have fully vacated the circuit before about 7pm.
If you can make it, the RSOC event is a cracking spectacle with a trackday, concours, autojumble and atmosphere you just wont find elsewhere.

Breakfasts.. available on the day from the chuck-wagon

Lunch.. as usual in the pub (Chequers Inn, Dalton)

Teas and Coffees.. all day long. All the money in the kitty goes towards next years event..

Raffle.. likewise. Please bring a few quid to spend.

Driver of the Day trophy.. Cut Crystal again this year for BMW drivers only. If you want to be judged on your progress throughout the day please ask for a coloured sticker at registration.. this is so the marshalls know who to look for.. it is free to enter.

Any questions.. post them to the site.

See you all on Monday.

Nick

Strange rule the long sleeve thing, especially in a closed roof car. I can "kind of" understand the reasoning, although If you have a bang serious enough to justify long sleeves.....long sleeves will be the last thing to worry about!!!! Racing boots/trainers and gloves would be a better stipulation IMO.

The covered arms and legs thing has never been enforced on one of my days, maybe as you say it is just for open cars. Nevertheless, it is there in the script and you should be aware of it.
