I would also be interested in the GB having just seen it but I am still having trouble getting replies from you about those cams!

I am very much like that myself Paul!! Having seen this thread then investigated, the price does seem very good indead!!

With the cams, airbox and alpha N it works out at £1772 + shipping within a few quid. But if I dont sign up and get it now I will debate it until I have decided that I dont really need it.

the price is good. I dont think we will repeat the cam GB too often :)

chris, dont worry you will get the invoice soon enough. I think

the parts will arrive on friday, if not then monday.

Dave, generally everyone I know over here goes ahead and cuts the valve pockets just a little bit deeper to provide extra insurance.  Its pretty tight but you dont have to.  the 284 is not much more extreme than the 276, the profiles are very close just a little less lift.

Often people are running 320is pistons in the 2.3l block to raise the compression ratio too. They run pretty good! 

if you have old valve springs, Id probably consider the schrick valve springs to give extra insurance.

what do you mean with evo3 / std. pistons?

do you have a 2.5 now?  I thought you had a 2.3?  John
