Due to a typing error, the date of the Newby Hall meet in the North East News page of the latest magazine was put at the 30th August.

It should read 24th August, and does in the events list. Please join us, especially those who asked for just such a day out in this forum.

Meet at Morrisons Supermarket at Borough Bridge at 11.30 am for a procession to the hall. That way we do not get lost - hopefully.

I have to apologise in advance, I did ask for just this kind of day out, unfortunately my car was written off in an accident on May 3rd, and I havent finished its replacement yet.
I'm hoping to have it on the road for September.
I look forward to attending more events as soon as I have a BMW to drive !!
Best Wishes

Nigel

Don't worry about it falkster. I'm coming in mine and won't even have time to polish it. Matters not whether your car is mint or rusty. Come along and join in the fun.
Nigel, you don't need a BMW to come to a meeting. Just be interested in them. Bring the fmily in your dad's car. Could save you some money if he drives it!

Haven't been to an outing before, just looked up Newby Hall on the world wide wait and it looks rather good.
Whats happening on the day?
If I can persuade the missus that Whitby is too busy with traffic jams. I'll try and make it.

I'll be there. I assume it's the Morrison's just off the A1M?

Thats the one. Assemble at the rear of the car park. If the traffic reports are correct, it might be better avoiding the A1M as far as possible.
LOts of events on near Leeds.

Looks like I might be going 'taking my bird told her we can have a nice walk round the gardens, she'll believe anything - she's from Wolverhapton..' (she told me to put the last bit)
Will meet in car park, looking forward to it.

You'll have to forgive the state of my car, haven't had time to put my new wings on yet.
