Is it possible to replace the section of wiring between the back of the stereo onwards ? I am wanting to fit the standard stereo but the loom has been butchered to take an aftermarket one. Its an E30 M3.

Best thing to do is cut off all the crappy wiring that has been bodged on and solder some nice new wires on.

Accessory 12 Volt VT/GY
Constant 12 Volt RD/WT
Chassis Ground BROWN
Power Antenna & Remote Amp Turn On WT
Illumination GREY/RED
LF(+) Radio to Amp YELLOW/RED
LF(-) Radio to Amp BROWN/ORANGE
RF(+) Radio to Amp BU/RD
RF(-) Radio to Amp BN/OG
LR(+) Radio to Amp YW/BK
LR(+) Radio to Amp BN/OG
RR(+) Radio to Amp BU/BK
RR(+) Radio to Amp BN/OG

I believe these are the original wire colours. Can anyone confirm these? Without me having to go and take my stereo out of my car.
