Guys, Any suggestions of somewhere fairly central where we could all get together for a big combined Norfolk/Suffolk/Eseex meet for around late May as I have had a quick look and can't really find anything, so all input would be appreciated as it would be nice to prove them wrong about nothing happening in our region. Hi Paul
One of the things needed to be decided is do we just want to "meet" or do we want to make it a bit of a do-thing....ie a meal, or karting or something lke that....!!!

Mandy, Thinking about the meal side of things, I thought that more perhaps nearer christmas and maybe a bbq in mid-summer. See what people think. Like the idea of karting though, let's see what ideas get brought forward. There is also Scot's event at Billing aquadrome, Northampton at the beginning of May which I'll be going to. Its advertised in the club events forum, which could be good for all of us to get together again. Paul Edited by e28silver528i |

Darren, Was going to make it a sunday anyway, probably in June as May is too close to the weekend at Billing aquadrome. I think we'll get a far better turnout Paul |

Cant make this weekends meet but have a good idea for an easter meet. Could combine all of east anglia in with this one. The owner of Lakeside country club in Lyng (NOrfolk) has agreed to have all us BMW memebers to come and meet at Lakeside. The country club has a big grass area to display the cars infront of the fishing lakes or the building itself and also food/drink is available inside. After this is we get a big convoy we could all drive to the North Norfolk coast. This is just an idea and not to sure who organises these meets but I think it would be great to do something like this. Hope i'm not stepping on anyones toes.Dominic Dack 318is E36 Thetford meet, Family member |

I know my idea is a bit far for the essex crew, but it would be an excellent meet if its warm, food available and if I ask a bbq could be arranged, Also a new Lind BMW has been built on the A47 so those who want to pop in there can do so, anyway wait for replies and see how much interest there is.

I'm prepared to run a cruise out from wherever the meet may be, if people want to enjoy some back street action.

Wheres that demonbiker - if it's where I think it is, it's a bit far away! On the other hand though - a suggestion for combined spring meet - why not organise a club stand for the 25th June meet at Snetterton race circuit as the Khumo BMW championship will be there and can possibly get complementary tickets for it as we would be endorsing the club. Whats your thoughts peeps - Darren see what you can guage from the essex boys!! Paul Edited by e34silver530i |
