Just letting all Dublin people know (if they dont already) about Maxol in terenure. Unleaded is 79.9 a litre. Which is the best I've seen around dublin.

Shell in Kilmainham is 79.5c. Do you mean Maxol in Haroplds Cross - opposite Rosie O'Grady's?

I think the AA have a page for this too.

From what I have been told on the M forum, the car can run on standard unleaded but you loose around 5-10bhp whereas super you have the full 220bhp and is supposed to be more economical that the standard unleaded!

When I've been driving in the UK I found that Shell Optimax gave a smoother ride and better consumption, but I can only find PURA over here which doesn't seem to make any difference - other than the 25c a litre price delta!!
The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.

Have you guys heard of anywhere in Ireland that you can get Shell Optimax? I used to use it back in Australia, and it does make a difference. I have never seen it around so I guess Shell decided not to market it over here....
