Anyone know of an interactive  site where you can place different types of wheels on your type of car to see how they look before purchasing??

Long shot i would expect....

Thats the same style as Borbet & Ronal, go to www.raceandroad.com and click on the link for 'see these wheels on your car'.

BMBitz's site used to do it too.

Or you can try the Tirerack at http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_garage/
WheelSearch.jsp?
&autoMake=BMW&autoModel=528i&autoYear=2000&autoModClar=

You can even change the car colour to match!

You cant go wrong with 18" M Parallels on an E39

Not my car I hasten to add, but the M Parallels look great.

Yep totally agree. Any idea of an average price on a good second hand set, ideally with rubbers.?

On Fleabay they tend to go for around £700 a set.  There are replicas around, some of which are good quality (TUV approved ??) and im sure there are people lurking on the forum who can provide advice on the best ones.

The M Parallels are wider at the rear normally (front 235/40/18, rear 265/35/18) however you can put 235/40/18's on all round with the replicas.  Makes the tyres quite a bit cheaper in the long run as the 265's are a bit pricey !!
