Hi again

My rear n/s light is slightly dimmer than the o/s.  Methinks there must be some greater resistance somewhere.  Any ideas?

Cheers

Have you checked the contacts / plug-spade connections? Sometimes you get corrosion there too.....

deffinatly the light that is Dim is not seated properly, they come in a clip fit cluster, its slipped look in the boot behind the liner you will see the Cluster has slipped out

Simply pull it gently out an inch or two you will see the clips then and slot it back in ..

Dont force it it will slide in nicely when you are in the right position

once seated properly it will be the same Brightness as the other one.

To check this before pulling the boot liner about.

Turn your lights on and look closely. you will see the bulb is sitting back from the other one

You may even see a slightly darker circle where the bulb is shining through a hole Bingo..

Well, I checked today.  The bulb sits in a white plastic holder that clips into the main housing.  The bulb was all silvered and the edge of the plastic hiolder had obviously git hot as it was showing burnuing marks.  Perhaps the bulb was not seated in properly.  It was also a bit of a ****** to get back in!

Anyway all seems to be well at the moment.   Hope I don't have to get  a new bulb holder!

Thanks anyway.
