Hi guys, I have been clearing out my garage and have found a new in the box original set of motorsport stripes for the e24. The go the whole length of the side and at the back flick up slightly.

Anyone interested in them?

Regards,

Rohan

Rohan

Are they the plain stripes, or the earlier knifeblade style?

Wouldn't be a problem for me to examine - I'm only down the road!

If they are a twin stripe: one dark grey and the other light grey I would be interested... since my car will eventually get a respray and need them.

If they are the 'knifeblade' type, then they are an earlier fitment. knifeblade ones are about 2 inches wide, while the others are simply just 2 pinstripes.

Well lads, they are tri colour, proper motorsport stripes in blue, purple and orangey red. I think I know what you mean by the knife blade with two lines, the top one forming a sort of arc.

These are like the stripes seen on a batmobile.

No problem for you to come and view them Horse!

Rohan

If you have a part No. people could plug it into real OEM to identify them.

They are definately M635 kit, so I would not fit them to my car as I have a standard 635.

What you should do is give them to a deserving M635 owner, as they are probably hard to get hold of; not least due to their retail price as indicated on realOEM!

Although I have say I bet they would look great.

They would probably only look right if your car was Alpine White....

I aggree, I cant think of any other colours that would provide the correct contrast, especially metallic vehicles....

I have to confess, I am considering the knifeblade stripes, as I do think they suit the car perfectly... but ill probably stick with the pinstripes as a matter of originality.

I dont suppose you know the part numbers for the pin stripe decals Ivan.

Have you ever tried to remember and type out all these numbers, Ben?

CD-ROM doesn't let you "copy and paste"

I didnt know that actually, thats annoying. I have to say that the way the windows open is very irritating on there too. Its just typical of old software... I wonder when it was complied.

Can someone please give me the part number of the red and black pinstripes on my Misano red Highline? My CD does not list the different colours.   Thanks in advance.
