Not sure if it's me but charges at BMW dealers seem to be going up.

My M6 was in Sytners for an oil service yesterday and I asked them to
check the horns as only one works so it sounds ****e and makes me even
crosser.

Cost of fitting 1 new horn? Over £80 plus VAT. A tad steep IMO!

I will try and get one at Donington on Sunday and fit it myself.

I was also quoted over £330 (plus VAT I guess) to replace the sump
gasket as it is weeping slightly. Is it a big job on this engine?

I asked them to check the tracking and they said they only do 4 wheel
alignment and the cost is £260 - which is more than my 4 new Kuhmo
tyres cost.

Not sure what the cost of the oil service will be but the days of the cheap
4Plus service for our older Beemers seem to be long gone!
Nick
