hi,

ive been told that my '96 E36 328i coupe should have m3 suspention. it is not the sport jus standard coupe.  is this true? how can i tell? and would m3 suspention make much difference if i did fit it??

No it won't have M3 suspension may well have Mtech suspension which is lower than standard,IIRC all coups came with this as standard and the sports pack was the upgraded body kit.

I wouldnt bother changing to M3 suspension, you might find the ride a bit too hard.A lot of M3 owners swap to 328 sports springs to soften the ride up a bit,
