There are some prices shown at the link for working with the ETK CD, but I have not managed to get them to work, not that I spent long investigating...

Cheers lads!

Good thinking Nostrils.  I'd forgotten about that.  I have a version of the ETK alright and tried downloading the ETK pricelists from that website last year, but like yourself I didnt get it working.  Must try again!

Just used that site to check part number on engine mounts I got from GSF. They matched, handy confidence check.

Got the 10% club discount as well, very useful.

Pricing I downloaded GSF catalog the £6.75 became €9.20 (with club discount) that equates to an exchange rate of 0.73. The Dollar price ($35) on that site is no relation to the Euro/sterling price. Strange!

What happened the engine mounts? Maybe something to do with car being yumped as a course car on Circuit of Munster Rally! Engine mounts now 2 halves, engine sitting at an angle across engine bay with fan hitting radiator.

Hmmm Very interesting

Are you telling us that someone let an UNSCRUTINISED car, with no safety equipment such as roll bars, etc, out as a '00 on a rally circuit?

Or is that as an officials car?  If so, you should be maintaining road legal conditions and be driving well within safety parameters; you're supposed to be setting an example!  No wonder we have so many young boy racers messing up our rallies if they see "Official" vehicles acting like idiots.

Never a truer word there Fey, thats why I thought it was interesting, thats the kind of behaviour that I hate on the roads even if the road is closed for events etc

It justs busts my hide, becauses for the last 3 months we've been trying to arrange and promote the Galway National Rally.

Rallying in Galway was destroyed because of non-rally followers pretending to follow it and causing riots in the city a few years ago, meaning that we have our work cut out for us.

Therefore, immature actions by officials (or even just self-important official-(wannabe)-looking people) is frowned upon.

Simatic; sorry about the OTT OT and the ranting; unfortunately, I can't help you with your enquiry.

Again, apologies.

Fey

Re read my post. I never said my car was a 00 car. Where did you get that idea?

I am a former stage commander and have been a timekeeper and marshal on Galway club events and a regular entrant in the Ballyvaughan hillclimbs.

I was not driving the car on the day. When I saw the mounts after the event you could see that all that had been holding them was about 10mm of rubber so it would not have taken much to break them. They were very much on their last legs

Simatic; as I said before, apologies for going off topic like that.  In future, I will try not to let my goat be got by unmentionable unmentionables.  Killian; here's back on topic:

Try this; it may be of some use, but not all original BMW parts.

Google.ie with the search "bmw prices parts" threw up a few more.
