Board Anyone???

   I have just removed the instrument pannel on my 1985 635 Auto.

I need to replace the rechargable AA cells on the rear board - im sure you are all familiar to this job!!!
Does anyone know the best place to get one - or someone who does this type of thing??? The batteries have obviously leaked, and i think it has ruined the board. How much is a new one from BMW? Is there a better place to get one. Any advice is greatly apreciated.
Also if I try and replace the cells, are Nickel Metal Hydride, or Lithium Ion batteries better (longer lasting should I say)?

	I'm not entirely sure of the wisdom of using the newer Ni-Mh batteries, as the voltages might be slightly different. Best look for the modern equivalent of the original Ni-Cds.
