The Drive & Dine to the Dyke Neuk near Morpeth has been finalized for the Wenesday 3rd August - our regular meeting night.

It's £10 a head for 2 courses. PM me for address to send cheques & menu selection.

Meeting point will be the Travel Lodge next to the Holiday Inn Seaton Burn, 7:30pm.  It's only a 15 minute drive to the pub.  Plenty of parking space & we'll have a room to ourselves.

Are you taking cheques and menu choices at Ramside?

Cheers

Well the final figures are in (I think!).

29 people, 16 cars though not all BMW.

I believe there's a Merc Cosworth Evo attending & a "Mercedes turbo convertible with a sequential gearbox".   Hmmmm.

See you all 7:15pm at the Seaton Burn Travel Lodge.

The locals won't know what hit 'em!

Thanks to Andy for organising this. Food was great and I'm just sorry we had to leave at 10.

My wife definitely fancies an old 6 series after seeing Andy's in the car park. I can't wait to see what she buys me for Christmas!

Cheers, Neil

It has that effect!    She can come & help me polish it!

Glad you enjoyed it.

Everyone seems keen to do another.  We'll have to get our thinking caps on for somewhere else.

Already collecting suggestions for the next one.

Pass on any of your ideas.

Will you be at the next meeting at Bowburn Hall? The location is aimed at you "southerners".

Good point Andy.  The change of venue is so that members that are the 'southerners' for the North East region, of the North East region (stay with me here..), do not have to travel all the way North to Seaton Burn for the monthly meet.

This will only be a success, and therefore worth the effort, if members from the Durham/Teeside/Wearside/Darlington (Floody!) etc., attend.

So please make every effort to come!    Wednesday 7th September

Please see seperate thread for more details:

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
