Sometimes the 'nanny state' goes a bit over the top. Soon it will be dangerous to health to breathe, to eat and to drink.

Freedom of choice has totally gone by the wayside in alot of areas, is it any wonder there is so much unrest in the world.

I doubt if Dublin could handle the Dutch driving their trams..come to think of it, the trams might not handle the Dutch driving

Dutch tramdrivers stop for nothing..apart from passengers getting on or off. They are maniacs...just cos they are on lines doesn't make them safer, oh no, they are lethal and they aim at you. They wait til you are half way across the road and then they swoop at you...deadly things they are..

Dive out of path of a bicycle..straight into the path of a tram...been there, done that and had hysterics for ages afterwards..

Me too, although I'll be after some of those crazy cyclists with the bell-ringing. Had a few near misses on my first 2 days over there - just cause I was walking in the cycle lane!

Can't torture Daleks before the watershed anyway, censors say so. Wonder what they made of the episode when aliens took bodies of politicians and f**ted all through it? It tortured my stomach laughing! Wasn't there a disclaimer at end of episode, no Daleks were injured in the making of this programme and the UK humane society for Daleks supervised all scenes?

I've got Jamiesons, Jack Daniels

Should've sued for stomach trauma Ian. Something I'm waiting to happen to Danone etc. for allowing dodgy germs into food and fobbing it off as a health gimmick, instead of cleaning the packaging factory (still, you have to admit, it's pretty clever marketing!)

you been biding you time huh.

What part of Holland are you working in Derek? I visited the 'Dam a few years back, absolutely loved the relaxed nature of the place. Nothing like srolling back home at 4:30am after chilling in a pub for a few hours. Also got to see the madness that is Queensday
