Hello again from the newbie.Got home last night from being out with the family to find when i stopped the engine the fan kept running.Thought it would stop after a bit but it kept up it's relentless noisy spinning. The car wasn't overheating at all, normal running temperature.I couldn't find the cut out switch with it being too dark outside and also with the serious lack of knowledge. It was still running after approximately 10 mins so eventually had to resort to removing the aux fan fuse which thankfully stopped the fan.Any help will be very much appreciated. Many thanks...87 7 Series by the way.

There are 2 (Ithink) thermal switches. They are not expensive to replace. However, first check wiring and connections are OK.
