New 630i Conv Design/Tech issues

   Hi can anyone tell me if there anre any common/serious tech issues with the 630i convertible.
Thinking of cancelling my 911 997 coupe order due to the ongoing Rear Main Seal issues with it. Save some money and get a practicle cabrio to boot! Your thoughts appreciated!

	Too early to tell?? Most 6 series owners on here have cars that are 15 to 29 years old. But the new 6 series has been out a while now and I don't think there are endemic faults showing themselves as yet. The main thing with the 630 is the new engine. The new 630 engine is THE FUTURE for BMW straight 6 engines, so they should have tested it well over millions of kilometres and got it right. No guarantee I know, but a comforting thought. anyone else got a view? cheers

	Thanks, good to know no onme else has anything to say. The same could not be said of the 911!!! I have now bought a 630i cabrio and looking forward to taking delivery.
