   Hi, 

I have a 323 coupe with 80000 on the clock and full service history. 
I was wondering when the timing chain on these cars generly requires replacing and if it an expensive job. 
Also, for reference, I would like to know what engine number the 6 cylinder 323 motor is i.e. M40 etc...
