e34- e39 wheels will they fit

As far as I know, the E34 wheels have the same PCD for the 5 bolts and have the same offset, but...............the spigot hole in the centre of the wheel is slightly smaller on E34's (2, 3 or 4 mm smaller).

When swapping E39 wheels onto an E34 you can buy spigot rings which will take up the space, for you though, the only way is to get the hole in the centre of the wheel machined out to the larger size.

Is it worth it ?? only you can tell.
