Hello

Does anyone know of a good BMW Specialist Garage in the North Yorkshire area.

I live in York and have a 1987  528i SE. I heard of one in Harrogate and Selby but I have no idea if they are any good.

Thanks in advance for any help

Steven

Hi
I live in York as well, and always go to Spectrum (01904 430205) in the Raylor Centre, James St (go past Andrew Pages and its a bit further on the right). The one in Selby is Time Scale (01757 708365) and they didn't seem too bad when I had some carb work done to my old 316 a few years ago.
Otherwise, the only other garages I've gone to is Riccal Garage for repairs (non specialist) and Allwyn Kershaws in Gate Helmsley up towards Stamford Bridge, they have a rolling road and I'd recomend them for tuning.
Let me know about the Harrogate one, if you find anything about it - or any more in York.
Regards, Rhys

The best one is in selby - Specialist cars. a bloke called R. Cooper runs it from his house in brayton. He services lots of e30 m3's inc. rare alpinas and he knows his stuff. He also sells cars - at the mo he has ferraris, porshes, lamborgini etc.... i would trust him totally.

Thanks, I'll keep my eye out when I pass as I'm working out that way at the mo past the power station. If its the one I think it is, is it the one with a longish driveway to a few houses set well back from the road?

There is an excellent Dealership at Clifton Moor Industrial estate called Caslte Motors. Fantastic service.

jailer - I agree about Castle.  They are my local dealer and I think they are excellent.  Also Malton Motors - they are good too.....
