I took off the wiper on my E34 5 Series this morning.  When reconnected the alloy link between the motor and the arm keeps popping off.

I note that it is a push fit but wondeed how it is meant to be secured as after 2 or 3 wipes, off it pops?

Please help!

you will need a new linkage, they are only meant to pop on but they wear on the plastic caps ends. the linkage is under a tenner i think, you will find it hard to clip the new one on. you may have to use some waterpump type pliers.
