Guys,
I bought these for my E30 M3 but unfortunately have noticed that they are fouling the arches at the rear. How much would these be worth? They have covered less than 500 miles with Falken FK 451 tyres all round together with genuine Alpina badges. 5 x 120 PCD, ET15 offset. Needless to say they are as new. Any suggestions invited. |

Still them on ebay, you'll get the true value with any luck!! are they replica wheels? genuine Alpina (haven't heard of Alpina 2) go for a decent price if they're mint, i've seen set's sell for £800 ish, in 17" form. 18"'s would be more. depends if they're genuine or aftermarket!! thing is with aftermarket, you can buy new wheels and tyres for between £600 and £800 with bolts/badges etc. but pay a bit more if the tyres are better quality. so for 2nd hand aftermarkets you may be looking at anywhere from £250 - £500 depending on condition and tyres (tread depth and make) i've been looking for a few weeks for a set I like for my 5 Have a look, get an idea. |

can't check quality by the way they look!! it's all to do with the alloying of the metals, as well as the casting/forming. IMO, replicas are soft and at a size of 18" bend too easily on pot holes! there's a set of Alpha fit 18" Momo arrows in the garage back home, were on the 156 for about 900 miles before they hit a pot hole, the rear wheel bent, so they're sitting there with brand new tyres on (car was written off a few weeks later when someone hit it!) and they're Momo wheels (always thought Momo were a good solid wheel!!) |
