Hi All

This is my first post... a friend of mine has just bought a 1998 525i tdse auto, and is repairing it to its former glory, so I keep being told.

However, he has a problem with the outside temperature showing. It shows at -40 when connected and 0 when disconnected obviously. Any ideas guys??

Sensor is most likely faulty if it is the sensor itself you are disconnecting - possible short circuit also? -
