Beckham has openly admitted he fouled on purpose in the Wales vs England game.  Should he lose his place in the team and/or his captaincy?

I think he should lose both cos he isn't as good a player as he is made out to be.  I also think he missed the Euro 2004 penalty on purpose too.

There isn't a "don't care" option for the poll.

BTW that cricket on a sandbar in the middle of the Solent was on TV last night, madness, sheer madness, but looked like a great time was had by all.

When you start fouling on purpose, you cease to be a sportsman..

Youngsters and older folk look up to him, he is supposed to set an example.. He's now setting the wrong example and should be got rid of...

As Kevin said, where is the 'don't care' button. Personally i like some of the games, but generally I think the whole football thing is over priced, over hyped, and over done.

Beckham was a pratt for doing what he did, can't say i understand why, can't be bothered to find out.

From what I gather, he admitted to it so that he would get a 2nd yellow card, thereby making him miss his next match, which he would have done anyway due to an injury.
He's not as dumb as he looks!

Its quite funny...we have David who can't take a penalty and Posh is isn't posh and who can't sing - at least not unless her screeching is cleaned up by computer...

What wonderful role models they make....

Both are fakes, who might just as well go away to sunny Spain and never return....

also seems very odd that he was on the training field at REAL Madrid a couple of days after the ribby injury...one might say that if he was fit enough for the Spanish, he should have been fit for his own country's team....maybe the dates clashed...or maybe Vicky threw a tantrum about hubby going off to some poor country cos he might get a shot of realism for once.

I'se a cynical old wotsit
