A friend of mine (a burd) decided to reset her odometer, forgot she was coming to a corner and started to steer and got hand caught and crashed LOL! Just into a pavement, no other traffic!!! and yes, she is blonde!!! LMAO!!!

I do hope the NatEx drivers I get driving the coaches on my trip to Inverness are awake all night, could be mildly dodgy if they drop off...

I might ask if I can take the wheel for a while if the coach isn't too heavily loaded cos 18 hours sat on bum doing nowt will give me such a BSA otherwise

My 1st car was a mkIII cortina and I was testing it after I'd done some work on the Clutch/Gearbox went to drop 'er down a gear and ended up with the gearstick coming free...... interesting times!

I did the classic and drove on the wrong side of the road whilst on holiday in Canada forgetting of course that I was in Canada whoops luckily it was night and no one was around .

While on the subject of orions I used to have an old D Reg Escort and the steering wheel was always wonky so after trying to sort it out one day i went out for a drive but had forgot to screw the wheel back on  so turning a bit sharply round a bend in my road meant that I managed to pull the wheel off and thus managed to wipe out the road sign displaying my streetname and one of my foglights !!!

Speaking of Orion's...

Driving down towards Southampton docks to get the ferry, some idiot in an Orion was dodging in and out of the traffic like a looney.  I thought to myself how I wished he would lose it and could learn his lesson the hard way...BANG!!!

One Orion bonnet decorating his windsreen....

Oh..poetic justice strikes again....

Erm,,, you lot, can we get back to the point? or is that too much to ask.
Silliest thing while driving? how's this.
I once had a Mk 2 Golf GTI, it needed a respray after some body mods and change of colour(Audi door handles, flush tailgate, Chav stuff) I did all the work myself and for about 5 mins was well happy.
Then because I was paranoid about getting hand prints on the fresh paintwork(even after baking it in a paintshop I had access to) decided to drive the 5 minute journey home without properly slamming the bonnet shut. Yes it happened! bonnet flew open broke the hinges and hit the windscreen!
I can still remember the sound today.

The lad I bought my E30 off had a similar experience where his then girlfriend got her head stuck under the stearing wheel

Did you think you were Frank Spencer?

Overtaking traffic islands for fun, getting carried away with ice cream, hitting telegraph poles etc is one thing...but doing your own stunts on a moped, thats just daft
