just read the article saying bout bmw drivers being ******* and i dont agree there are a couple of people out there that do what it says and we all get bad reputations for it im annoyed bout it any one agree wid me

I think teh reputation has grown from initial jealousy of flashy blokes in E30's back in the 80's. All wanting to get somewhere fast. Then you have all the former vectra driver rep types now moving over to lower end 3-series who add to the motorway fastlane stereotype (but would have been just the same in their vectra). Finally with the overall increase in 3-series sales volumes it's going to happen more. People only take notice because it's a BMW who cuts them up.
