Why would you want to do that? 

It shreds your tyres and can't be good for the engine.  Even if I could I wouldn't, I love my car and wallet too much!

I'd be more impressed if he could do it around a series of cones i.e autotest style.

E30 M3 - 250k and still going....

totally agree. I can't see the point to hit the revlimiter @ 5mph speed.
E61 520d, slow and buzzy but my wallet likes the mpg.....
