..another good one,
thanks to everyone who came along today, speshly Kev who I forgot to mention at the de-brief.. he helped me rescue my lost computer files and has been banging the Croft drum for me for months.

Thanks to Chris Rossiter for being my chief instructor and master of ceremonies.. he makes it look so profesnial!

Thanks to Preston Hall BMW for the spanking good D.O.D trophy and the generous raffle gifts.

Thanks to Croft Circuit for letting the boys and me camp in the buildings last night on account of the torrential rain.. and for the use of the little blue Mini.

Thanks to all my regular guys for so willingly giving up your own time out on the circuit to help out and instruct some of the newcomers.

And thanks for buying all the tea and raffle tickets.. I know I bullied you a bit but I have just counted up and I have over £900 in my Croft tin that we have taken today.

.. see you next year for Croft'05.

Nick

Cheers Nick,

A brilliant day.....relaxed and fun but always safe with a nice mix of cars. Even a Focus standing in for a TVR which couldn't stand the pace. See I wasn't pulling your pl**ker!!!!!

We really, really enjoyed it and well done for getting a good group of first timers which should help next year and possibly the other BDD's

Roll on Croft '05 and the celebration of 10 years.

Well done Nick, obviously well organised, and as Kevin said relaxed (which has to be a Good Thing on this sort of day).

Got some good images, I am about to start uploading 696 of them...

They will shortly be on the web at www.miodem.com/photo/gallery, I will remove the rubbish / poor exposure / framing / funny file error pictures tomorrow, but for speed, will put the lot up tonight.

The ones with the lower numbers were taken earlier in the morning, the higher numbers towards the end if that helps anyone!

(Only took 3 hours 50 minutes to get back, a lot better than last night - a 6 hour journey)

See you next year?

we (me and n8arf) had a topsiturvie sort of a day at croft..going too fast too early and resulted in a rather big spin! A gentle word from nick, and a little bit of tuition from Gabby (nice motor mate) had me back on track...pardon the pun. I was never going to win the driver of the day after my black flagging incident, but things did improve after a hearty lunch in the chequers pub. A bit more tuition from chris late on had me driving lines which i never knew existed!...neither did he!

Croft was just brill , and cant wait to do it all again next year

Well done Nick for putting on such a great day.

Roll on Donington

Just wanted to say a big thank you for the Better Driving Day at Croft to Nick, all the instructors and marshalls who made the day such a great event to be part of.
It was my first track day and after such an exciting one I know it won't be my last. It was a very friendly atmosphere from all ages and backgrounds. I learnt alot and got to drool over some of Bavaria's finest, who could ask for more.

See you all next year

I found the same problem but it's all fixes now...the set sorted by colour of car works just fine.

Some good pictures...the red section has a good sequence.

Apologies to the Techno Violet car which I think is in the Black/Grey section, I also think there may be some light grey E30s in the 'silver section' - hope I have not offended anyone with the categories!

Simon,

There is no way you could offend anybody with the great photo's....the sorting into approximate colours is a great idea...really helps when trying to find your own car...now which photo's to buy????

By the way, I always give a free 7x5 lab shot of the same image with pictures 9x6 or bigger.

Glad everyone's enjoying them!

Have you got a new venue for next year?

It's amazing how it's always the last pint that's bad.

Its just my lisdexia.

Do you think anyone would be prepared to put their money down now for Croft'05? or is that just wishful thinking.

Flippin heck Nick you are keen aren't you, you already have 1 & 1/2 maybe 2 firm bookings for it already

Perhaps you should collect the monies in the reverse order you received payment for this year.

ok.. I'll wait until after Donington before I start up the Croft'05 machine.. but you know what they say about hot iron.. so if anyone wants to pay up front, they can have it at Croft'04 prices, cos you just know it's gonna go up..
..and anyway.. the raffle guys don't count. so I'm back to zero again.

Nick,
Croft'05
