I had a would-be boy racer ask me what my car was this morning....I mean it does have all its badges etc...so I asked him what he thought it was...
Ford Granada was the reply, 'got to be a rare one tho, cos its got doors missing and a boot spoiler'
Outside the parking area was his 'stallion'...poor lamb was quite proud of it...a Ford Fiesta complete with bad boy bonnet, black windows, scooby look bonnet scoop, furry dice, seatbelt pads...the whole nine yards....even down to the bodykit that looked like the car was still growing into lol

A four-year old 1989 Mk II Ford Fiesta 1.1 "Firefly" in Radiant Red, it had all the Ghia refinements without the Ghia badge, another example of limited edition badge engineering throwing all the previously optional extras onto a car to help sell the old model before the new one came out... happy days though... I got it up to an indicated 92 mph (feel the speed!)

I had a 1987 Vauxhall Belmont SRi... heavily modified (spent £3000 on it.. sold it for £350 - good business sense me).
I loved it - went round corners like nothing I've driven since. I'd lowered it with Jamex (now GMax) full suspension kit and it was rock solid.. could loosen fillings on a bumpy road surface. Sounded cool too.. had a K&N and a full 3" exhaust system from the manifold to the back...
Wish I still had it!
Cheers
Gareth

Certainly not! Id rather refer to burberry as 'ned tartain' it just that every single ned i see or worse, meet, seems to be wearing something burberry and more often than not a mera peak jacket. This is the case throughout the height of summer! Don't know if its just a scottish thing?

My scottish is pretty poor too which is a shame as its my first language but i'll translate, it roughly means:
"please sir would you be so kind as to not take this buckfast alcoholic wine from me that i am currently consuming". Only being in Glasgow it is said with absolutely no manners and often preceeds a barage of swear words or even the challenge of a "square-go" (stand up fight).
We scots are a civilised society!

Did you put the required paving slabs in the boot, as advised by Ford?
I did, and it worked a treat
