smg vs tiptronic

   hi everyone, great site. does anyone have experience in comparing the mid-range performance of an M3 SMG and a 911 tiptronic? i drive a `98 tip, but am seriously thinking about an SMG. i need an auto of sorts due to a road accident years ago and also a reasonably soft and responsive throttle.i understand the SMG won`t hold the car on a hill like an auto, but how easy is it to live with everyday.  thanks

	smg has a hill start feature also , i use the hand brake or just a little pressure on the throttle and it will just sit there .
