I was thinking about changing the indicators on the E34 to clear indicators. I'm getting some greif of people as they are "not standard" and would spoil the car, i think they look good!!

Any suggestions? (and if anyone agrees, where's best to buy them IF I decide to?)

I bought my wife's E34 clear lights from Motorforce. Tel: 0191 455 9033 - ask for Mick or Dave

They are very helpful and got me a recon steering box for £200 + VAT exchange.

The clear rears make a big difference to the look of the car.

I'd change to clear.

I've done the fronts and side indicators on mine and like the result.

I got them form Eurocarparts for less than £50.

Before you go check the bulb fitting on the side indicator as there are possible conflicts with the new lenses there (different bayonets).

And you will need a bag of patience and a flexible shaft screwdriver for the fronts - and some knuckle skin.

Unaninous decision then!!  I think I'll follow my heart and just keep the originals in case I or a future buyer prefers the originals!!

Cheers!!
