I check with a BMW dealer and they didn't have it on their system. Anyway, thanks for the number adwo, do you work for BMW? Do you have a price on the bar?

Adwo got it off his ETK. Ring your stealer with the p/n and they should be able to get a price... In fact one dealer was offering mega discounts in this month's BMWCC mag including mail order

Why so keen on the GT brace anyway? Would it not be just as effective (and cheaper) to get an aftermarket one?

That's the thing, I just wanted to find out how much the BMW one costs, but if it is mega expensive, then obviuosly I'll go for an aftermarket one.

Lee

I guess because we are all enthsiasts on here, some with a lot more knowledge than others, but collectively we know virtually all there is to know about these great cars.

If someone comes in claiming this and that but has a few inconsistencies/ errors in what they say, then the cynics will get roused.

You did mention sport evo 2. We all know it just as the Sport Evo.

People would assume that you would refer to it correctly working where you do.

We have all heard stories of people claiming this and that, especially when selling something.

This is fun...

Lee - If you are who you say, with the cars you mention - why not post some pictures or impress us with some usefull technical insight??

Yes, that fine collection of BMWs together with Lee in front, if he's been able to get out of school early.

Lee, I think you've rather over- egged your qualifications. You've even been able to make the Italian government pay up promptly on your written off 'Sport Evo two', yes you know the one after the sport evo one but now with Alcantara 'bit and bobs'. With skills like that a career in politics surely awaits you.

If you study hard in school your dreams (because that's what they are) may come true. Good luck!

Lee,

Your E34 M5 Touring sounds awesome with 110bhp more power.

I have some friends who are interested in very rare E34 M5's especially Tourings. Do you have the last 7 digits of the VIN No. probably best if you PM me and I can let them have the details if that is ok with you?

One of them lives in Munich so can I put you in touch with him and you guys can meet up. Are you there next week?

Oh some photos would be great to see.

Cheers
Kevin

ok, i don't know why so many people are so skeptical about Lee's credentials. It's not like he has gone around critisising others comments and stuff.

is it that "unbelievable" that a senior staff member of M may want to join this forum? afterall this is part of the BMW Car Club of GB right?

Lee, maybe you could put everyone's minds at ease and scan and post one of your business cards (probably better to remove all the numbers and your email address too, unless you want everyone to know it)

I think it's natural to be cynical when someone comes on here "boasting" about what they have, how much better it may be than standard and what they do.

Over the years there's been many people claiming to be something, only for it to be so far from the truth it's unreal.

Is very easy to create an internet persona and I think people are (rightly) cynical because of it.

Just my 2p's.......
