Whats a 'holiday'????

Last one I went on was on September 11th 2001...drove to Munich, stayed for a couple of weeks, went to the Oktoberfest - of course.  Only downside was the date I left this country.  Put a shadow on the whole time I was there, so want to go back one day soon, hopefully.  Took 14 hours almost non stop to drive from Calais to Bad Tolz, about 60 kms south of Munich in a 1988 reg n/a mk3 Supra with 3 of us and 3 big cases inside.  Three  drivers but the other two chickened out of driving over there.

Sat here watching all the yachties outside playing...

One yachtie in particular might be in a spot of bother very soon though.  They are moored on a buoy that belongs to the local yacht club, which they moved without permission.  This yacht is about 36ft long, very nice one too....

Pity the tide is going out and they not noticed....will be high and dry very soon....just like the roast spud advert on telly, with the cabin cruiser moored at the end of the pier..

The charts for this bay specifically say that you must not park here....oh well...another stranded yachtie coming right up

Good grief....

Can you get done for driving a yacht without a licence or while under the influence of too much sun?

The 36ft yacht has just raised all sails..which is fine...until you realise the berk behind the wheel hasn't actually untied himself from the buoy yet....

This yacht is displaying racing pennants too.....wonder what he is like in the pit lane????

The QE2 arrived this morning...to have her bottom scraped...them there barnacles do tend to hold on tightly

Well the old girl is getting on in yrs now..so they might value his help...and yes, it is a public exposure of her bottom too

Phil wearing his marigolds armed with a scrubber....what a thought

All the yachts realised someone had pulled the plug out and the water was vanishing from under their keels.....having said that, the tide isn't completely out yet and another bigger yacht has parked outside now...just waiting for th sound of keel meeting rock
