My sister-in -law, Elaine, will tomorrow (11 November) climb, and hopefully dismount, the last of all her mountains on the British Isles over 3,000'.  Hellvelan (probably the wrong spelling). She only started 4 years ago so its a shuge achievement!  While I'd like to put her mobile number here so you can all congratulate her not sure if that would be good!

Blummin exhausts me just thinking about it!

Oooh, The machine of a dream, such a clean machine With the pistons a pumpin', and the alloys all gleam, When I'm holding your wheel, All I hear is your gear, With my hand on your grease gun, Mmm it's like a disease son, I'm in love with my car, gotta feel for my automobile, Get a grip on my .......

Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties and had never been married. She was admired for her sweetness and kindness to all. One afternoon the pastor came to call on her and she showed him into her quaint sitting room. She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea.

As he sat facing her old Hammond organ, the young minister noticed a cut-glass bowl sitting on top of it. The bowl was filled with water, and in the water floated, of all things, a condom! When she returned with tea and scones, they began to chat.

The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him and He could no longer resist. "Miss Beatrice", he said, "I wonder if you would tell me about this?" pointing to the bowl.

"Oh, yes," she replied, "Isn't it wonderful? I was walking through the Park a few months ago and I found this little package on the ground. The directions said to place it on the organ, keep it wet and that it would prevent the spread of disease. Do you know I haven't had the flu all winter."

Don't you believe it!

I'm just finding my feet, itching to move/delete posts...

- or even lock threads.

Be a shame if you got the blame if it was this one, considering it was started way back in May 2004, now wouldn't it?

I thoroughly 2nd that emotion!

Of course Derek, now you are a mod, you could always go back through this thread and edit out all references to your blobby car - but that would be an abuse of power, and the thought has never even entered your head - has it??

The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.
