As i am on the boarder of both South east and Wessex it seems a little quiet again here. Come on guys there must be something to talk about or an event to organise.

Why don't we arrange a seaside gathering somewhere on the South coast on a Sunday?

It would be great to meet some of the Forum regulars and check out their motors.

Just need a decent pub with a sea view and a big (well, you never know) car park!

Hi,

Why not come down to the Fox & Hounds Pub in Winbourne Dorset on the last sunday of the month. Getting a lot of new people coming along and last month we had over 60 BMW's turn up.

Dorset about a 2.5-3 hour drive from me. I would have to convince her who must be obeyed that a day spent gawping at cars would be fun which is difficult as she hates cars.

If i buy her an Z3 i might be able to get away with more car outings. It's just the second hand purchase price that kills me.

If Dorset is a little too far west for some members, what about a sunday meet in Hampshire?

There must be a suitable venue (make that a pub) somewhere in the New Forest or on the coast.

I went to the last Bournemouth meet and it was a great turnout of cars. Apart from my M6 all were 3-series, mostly E36 and E30. Some really amazing cars, many extensively modified and well worth the trip from west Dorset.

It would be great to see a big shoal of sharknoses though. As Sohlman says, you gotta love 'em!

Let's see if we can sort something out in May.
I'm going to Hestercombe Gardens BMW Show & Shine on the 9th so what about the 16th/23rd?
