my diff is very noisy and getting worse any ideas on where to purchase a second hand one reasonably priced and what do you think is failing? bearings?

My diff seemed to get noisy - then I put some oil in and its been much better since.....although I guess i'll have to get around to replacing the seals soon!!

i replaced the oil about a fortnight ago not that that was the problem anyway

I find your attitude to the reply a little insensitive, I will however suggest that you look at the FAB spares site....link from the car club.They are based in Gloucester and may well be able to help you.I would suggest when you talk to them you moderate your attitude a little, as a spanner as a toothbrush may offend you.
