Finally after much talking about them i have my 850 4 pots on my car. They bolted on no problem along with the 750 master cylinder. There were a few problems in the fitting process in bleeding the system as there seemed to be a number of air locks. But eventually we got a brake pedal. All work was carried out by Fritz bits in Somerset, and then i had the 180 mile drive home yesterday. It is to soon to tell how much better they are as they are running in at the moment, but initial impressions indicate significantly more retardation. I have some photos, but no where to host them at this point, but when i get this organised i will post up the results. James |

Not bad at all! I have a pair of E23 4 pot calipers here and some E28 struts, so am going to have a fart about to see if they fit - the E23 calipers are very similar looking to the 4 pots on the M635CSi. The E23 had very good brakes, much better than the 6.

You should also have a look at the e32 single pots from a 750. These are very good brakes to and are better than standard and M6 brakes.

I replaced some of the copper piping, and also all the flexibles....right mission. Got some Goodridge hoses from AUTOMEC, which are really good.

Well that might be the case in a months time, but at the moment they are still not quite right. I still think i have a small airlock which is affecting one diaginal side of the braking force. Once they are worn in i will try a rebleed to get a better pedal and more powerfull brakes as i am not 100% happy with them at the moment although even now they are better than the old brakes, but they don't have any feeling which should not be the case.
